Appointment Confirmation Reminders

A finger with red thread wrapped around it. Here are some reminders for your child's upcoming dental appointment:
•  Please fill out our online COVID-19 screening form within 24 hours of your child's appointment. We will ask these questions again the day of your child's visit with us.
•  We ask that only ONE caregiver/parent/guardian escort the child on the day of the appointment. Please do not bring any siblings/friends/additional family members to your child's appointment unless they also have an appointment with us. Thank you for understanding as we work to limit the number of people in the office at any one time.
•  Please do not bring any food/drink into the office.
•  Please wear a mask while in our office. If you do not have a mask, we have some available at our sanitation station in our reception area.
•  Please sanitize your hands and your child's hands with sanitizer that it provided at our sanitation station in our reception area.
•  When you arrive for your child's appointment, please WAIT IN YOUR CAR and call or text our office to let us know you have arrived. We will text or call you when we are ready for you to come in the office in order to minimize time spent in the reception area.
•  When you enter the office, we have a spot demarcated in the reception area where you can stand that is several feet away from the reception desk.
•  We will take the temperature of you and your child when you enter the office. Please DO NOT enter the office if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, including cough or fever.
•  Our clinical staff will be wearing an increased level of PPE that may include gowns, face shields and masks during the entirety of your child's visit with us. We understand that young children might be apprehensive because of this. Some children might benefit from seeing photos of healthcare workers wearing heavy PPE before their appointment to help ease their anxiety.
•  Please anticipate that our office will be on the cooler side for our clinical staff members to be able to tolerate wearing heavy PPE throughout the day. Please be sure you and your child dress in layers so you are comfortable in our chillier than normal office!
•  We will ask you to use your own pen to sign any consents, medical histories and treatment child for your child. If you need a pen, we are happy to provide you one that you can keep. We will have a basket in our reception area that you can place completed paperwork face down to be collected by our front office personnel.
•  As has always been our policy, we are happy to and will need to reappoint your child if they are experiencing any symptoms of illness.
•  Finally, if you and your child are comfortable, we might ask you to wait outside while your child has their dental appointment. We know this might not be possible for younger and more anxious children, and that's OK!
•  As always, please call our office if you have any questions about any of our new protocols. It is our top priority that you and your children feel safe and comfortable in our office, especially during this time. We are doing all we can to provide top-notch care to your children in a safe environment. Thank you for trusting us to continue to care for your children!
